OUR BELIEFS

We believe in the full, verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures (II Timothy 3:16). We believe that the original manuscripts and autographs were written without error because of the work of the Holy Spirit who has moved each man to record the words of God (II Peter 1:20, 21).
We believe in the one true God, existing eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19-20).
We believe in the deity (John 10:30), virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22, 23), sinless life (II Corinthians 5:21), substitutionary death (I Corinthians 15:3), bodily resurrection (I Corinthians 15:4), and present intercession of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:34).

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit (Job 33:4) and His work of Convicting (John 16:8), regenerating (Titus 3:5), indwelling, (II Timothy 1:14) sealing (Ephesians 4:30) and filling (Ephesians 5:18). We believe that being filled with the Spirit is not the same as speaking in tongues, which is not in existence today.
We believe in the Genesis account of creation that God created man in His image (Genesis 1:27). We believe that man fell into sin, and that his need for salvation is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
We believe in salvation through grace and that it is the free gift of God, totally apart from works (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe that the only conditions for salvation are repentance and faith (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9, 10). We believe that the saved are eternally secure in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, 36; I John 5:11-13; 10:27-28).
We believe that the local church is a group of professing baptized believers, who unite regularly to worship and serve the Lord (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe in a literal heaven (Isaiah 14:13; John 14:1); we believe that heaven will be a place of love, joy, peace, happiness and eternal life with God (Revelation 21:1-5).
We believe in a literal hell, and the everlasting destruction in the lake of fire for those who reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 25:41, 46 II Thessalonians 1:9).
We believe in the visible, personal and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ, including His return for the church before the tribulation. (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
